Ok, enough of the whole comments-and-how-should-one-respond-to-comments forum. No one's doing it the right way, or the wrong way. Everyone's doing the best they can given their life -- work, family, and recreational time which does not include blogging!
Now, on a lighter note. We have a few potted pepper and tomato plants. Here's our first sprouting veggie! Woo-hoo! Next year -- a real garden. This year -- just a few pots.
Pretty exciting stuff for a gal who hasn't gardened since mom & dad made her weed the garden all those years ago, and you know I just loved that.
I know how excited y'all are for me, so I'll keep you in the loop and let you know how our lil green pepper is doing.
That is the cutest little pepper I ever did see!! :) It is always very exciting to me to watch things grow! Congrats on yer little arrival!!
ReplyDeleteI think your peppers are cute. In fact, after seeing yours, I went out a took a picture of hubby's peppers in pots. lol I'll probably post one in my Project 365 on Sunday!!!
ReplyDeleteAwwwwww, isn't it the cutest!! We have three pepper plants in our garden. I haven't checked to see if there are any babies on it. Hubby picked his first tomato off his Early Girl plant last night!!
ReplyDeleteTake care and Happy Gardening!!
Yayy for the fresh vegetables!! Aren't they just the best?
ReplyDeleteAnd I don't know what the deal is, but I am having the hardest time opening your blogs! :( I think my computer is just wack!! lol
Growing food is so satisfying! Too bad I suck at it. :) So whatcha gonna make with it??
ReplyDeleteI don't know why I'm so excited for you, but I am! It's just a pepper....but it's growing...and that is so cool!
ReplyDeleteAre there more??
Congrats!

Congrats on the accomplishment. The little ones have prevented us from doing our regular small garden this year, but the cherry tomato plants up where we are seem to grow every year despite our lack of attention.
ReplyDeleteWell, you beat me! Mine haven't sprouted yet! I guess cause its been to cool. Tomatoes have I will post some pictures on my blog. You will have so many peppers you will be chopping and freezing them for the winter!!
ReplyDeleteOh - green vegetables in a pot. How lovely!
ReplyDeleteYay!! How cute and how exciting! Been there :-) I can't watch the video on the top entry on the computer I'm on in the "keep the kitties quiet for now" room. I'll try to remember to come back to it.
ReplyDeleteIf you cut it into little teeny tiny pieces, we all can share. LOL
ReplyDeleteBTW, it will taste better than any store-bought pepper.
There's NOTHING quite like home-grown vegetables!
ReplyDeleteI have little peppers too. And a little eggplant. And finally blossoms on the tomatoes. I feel your excitement. : )
ReplyDeleteMy strawberries are done for the year am now eating red raspberries.Rest of garden only doing so-so
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute little pepper! It is just so much fun to see things grow and develop and then become part of a recipe just for you and yours!

What a cute little pepper.
ReplyDeleteThat is usually the final size of any attempt at growing veggies. After that, they shrivel up and die or rot on the vine. I swear, I have a black thumb! And, I can't bake, either - I am a failure as a homemaker. It's a good thing I have another job.
OG: Watch that baby grow.
ReplyDeleteMy pepper plants are growing, but I don't have a cute little one growing yet. Great work!
ReplyDeleteSo jealous! I seriously can't grow a darn thing. Well, except pineapple. Apparently, they thrive on neglect.
ReplyDeleteOur green peppers are so far behind your little adorable one. I have my first garden too so I understand your excitement.
ReplyDeleteFor some reason we have never had good luck with bell pepper plants. I have gotten a few off of them, but they never compare to what you see in the store. It is the same story with strawberries. :-(
ReplyDeleteNow tomatoes and zucchini we can grow here!
