Do you think there might be a market for this unique item?
My world of technology is all back to normal. The car is fixed, I have a refurbished cell phone, and my iMac is back home. It is wonderful when technology works, but when everything breaks down at the same time, it can be immensely frustrating!
The last few weeks have been busy - much dog biscuit baking and filling orders. A good thing, for sure! I am hoping to experiment with horse and cat treats after the first of the year, and begin offering larger sizes, e.g., 1 lb and 5 lb bags of the dog treats. We also hope to expand on our dog treat flavors as 2010 rolls around.
And to close this blog post, I want to point you all to a wonderful cookie website, Cowgirl Cookie Co. - this gal and her mom make the most marvelous cookies, and her website has an awesome western touch. I personally haven't tried them yet, but I've heard rave reviews from others, most notably a friend of mine here in Kansas. So check them out, and give 'em a try - I aim to order some in the next few weeks!
Love all the horse shoes!
ReplyDeleteVery neat coat rack with the horse shoes! I think there would be a market for me, very nice!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you are a busy woman!
Merry Christmas!
The nicely done coat rack looks very marketable. You should put it on etsy or ebay and see what happens. It's great to see a post from you.
ReplyDeleteWhat a clever idea for a coat rack! Impressive. I bet there are lots of folks that would want one!
ReplyDeleteI would buy one! My hubby and I are always trying to think of things to make out of scrap and market them....but when it comes right down do it we need to make more than $3.77 an hour! lol...Writhin all the ideas down for when we "retire".
ReplyDeleteThat is a very nice coat/hat rack. Your husband did a terrific job. I personally, think it's very marketable. I have seen some like it somewhere before. Probably at country Christmas when the NFR rolls around.
ReplyDeleteYou are one busy girl. You have a lot of good things going on. All the best to you.
Beautiful coat rack! Your husband is VERY talented! It is absolutely gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI think it is (can't think of the right word here - great, wonderful.) None of those. You are pursuing a passion with the dog treats. Finding your way as a powerful woman using her abilities to create a life. Does that sound stupid? Worried about women lately. Wish more women (especially the young women bombarded with insignificant advertising and the campaign to look all the same) would take up their passions. Oh, what a better world ahead if we do.
ReplyDeleteBest of luck with this venture.
Oh course there's a market for that coat hanger and I'm betting you figure out just the way to find it. You're quite the entrepreneur, young lady.
ReplyDeleteI had to comment on this just because it's worthy! I think thats so far out he made this out of all the available material he saved- so creative! Yes, who wouldn't want something like this? I'm glad your doing this business..do you ship to Hawaii? Just curious..Hope you have a great week-
ReplyDeleteThe horseshoe coat racks look so cool. The place to sell them would be horse shows, county fairs, and advertise them in western magazines like horse and cowboy poetry magazines. Good luck on them! :)
ReplyDeleteWelcome back! I certainly think he could sell them
ReplyDeleteHow creative of your hubs to make that coat rack using horseshoes. And I love that the horseshoes have a nice dark sheen to them.
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize you were making and selling pet biscuits. That's awesome!
You go girl! There is a market..but limited to western decor.. have him try one with no rope..and all weathered iron and horseshoes..natural looking and old..and it hits a whole other niche market..just my opionion:)
