It's the same way here in northwest Georgia - it was in the upper 50s Thursday, and snow/sleet/ice today. The sleet came down so hard that it was painful, but once it started snowing, the heavy wet kind, it was beautiful. Your meadow lark is beautiful! I'm thinking we don't have them here, but I could be wrong.
well we had that much rain....it was in the 50's then started raining...dropping to the 20's...if we didn't have changing weather what would we complain about???LOL
We are in the middle of a mini blizzard. Supposed to get up to 9 inches tonight thru Sat. night. ugh.
Ringo is adorable. My three love the snow, too. But, oh, what a mess when they come in. Everyone has to line up and get their puppy paws wiped!
I am having a giveaway for a pair of Ariat boots! Come by to enter. Oz Girl needs a good lookin pair of boots for horsin around! If you could pass on the word about the giveaway. Thanks!! :)
You got out weather we had last week here in Ca. I had the rain and my sister got the snow. She is in the mountains, Big Bear Ca. I am down the hill and hour and a half. They were cut off! They had 6 feet of snow and no power for about 36hours. I had a leaky roof. I didn't even want to tell her that. My problem was so tiny compared to hers. Keep the dogs warm make sure you have a generator and candles and lots of blankets!!
From Indiana to Florida: This past year has been one of surprises. No snow. No perpetual rain. and something in the sky that shines brightly and lifts my depression. Floridians call it the sun. Indiana Hoosiers call it a MIRACLE.
Now we are in the process of moving back. Our year of hiding out has ended and it's 17 degrees at home. HELP!
Looks a tad chilly there! Love your moon photo! I didn't get one last evening..too cold. Sounds like y'all are keeping busy! Congrats on going to be a Grandma..I hope everything goes well..twenty weeks, that is half way!! Grandkids are the best!! :)
We typically get your weather a day or so later. We got it today :( Our pups love the snow too - and I've always hated it, but I must admit, these pups make me feel somewhat differently about it......

Ooooh its really cold up here in Ohio, wind chill around zero I think. No snow though. I am SO ready for spring, I can't say it enough!
ReplyDeleteYou can keep the snow and wind there ma'am. Ours has melted for the moment. Glad Ringo is enjoying the cold paws.

ReplyDeleteWe won't have meadow larks until May. It was only supposed to be low 30s here today, but I saw 42 on our therometer.
ReplyDeleteIt looks so pretty, with or without snow! Ringo is such a cutie!
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos! It's freezing here too, but magical when the sun shines.

ReplyDeleteYour snow pictures look like ours. I am tired of this crummy weather too. You take such good photos and make the everyday things more beautiful.
