The beautiful new mum with her sweetest little one
Sweet, sweet Leah Elizabeth
The happy new gramma!
Proud, yet tired, new daddy
Mummy, daddy and Leah
Leah with her new hat made by Aunt DeeDee (Stacie)
(I think she needs to grow into it! :)
Me and my goofy-looking self
(which is why you don't see many pics of me on my blog!)
Yes, I finished the quilt before she was born
I found the little musical doll in Guthrie
It plays "Doggy in the Window"
My daughter-in-law has posted many more photos on her blog, and she will be putting up a hilarious video of Leah's first bath, soon!
So this would be why I've been absent for the last week or so. I'm back home now, but will be working the next few days. I'll try to get back on track and visit some of my bloggy friends in the next week or so!! Hope everyone is having a marvelous summer so far.

Congrats! She is such a pretty little girl, and you'll have so much fun being a grandma!
ReplyDeleteA guy that goes by Yogi dropped by my blog today (or maybe yesterday) and left a comment. Of course I had to pay a return visit and while I was checking out his blog I noticed yours in his sidebar.
ReplyDeleteNot living far from Oz, I decided to drop in for a visit and I'm so glad I did! You have a great blog and beautiful photos. Not to mention your new granddaughter. What a beauty! I know how proud you must be of the wee one.
I know you must be busy so I'll stop for now but I'll be back.
Have a blessed day!
awww ... this is so tweet .... awesome. and touching.
ReplyDeleteHmph . . . well . . . what I wanna know is, "What happened to MEG???"
ReplyDelete(Isn't that the name the majority of bloggers chose for this little bundle of preciousness??)
;)
Susan, I'm not sure if this is the first Grand Child but it seems that it is. You are going to like the new journey that you have stepped into. Spoil them and send them home is my moto, except my youngest grandson lives with me so I've had to modify that and make it spoil them and keep them. He's a great bundle of five year old energy that's all boy. He already has developed the male selective hearing gene. It drives his mother crazy but Grandpa can identify with that male trait. ;)
ReplyDeleteMy advice is spend as much time as you can with grand children as they grow and mature so fast. We only get one chance to input into their little lives to build memories for them. Have a great adventure with your grand children.
