I just came upon your blog and love your photos. I grew up on a small farm in eastern Ohio, went to college in a small town in Kansas, lived in Wichita later, and now live in the state of Washington. Your photos do remind me of my college days. I enjoyed all 3 places, even though the scenery is quite different from each other. Mother of Vic and Ver (Bella Jean Boutique
yup, nothing like a good summer rain to cool things down and freshen up the air. Thunder and lighting without damage are fascinating to watch. If it takes 30,000 volts to jump a spark one inch, holy sparky it would take billions of Jigawatts (Back to the Future term)to produce a lightening strike. Pretty incredible when you think about it.
It looks like we are in for more rain next week. There were only nucience rains that kept the humidity up this week.
Our horses hate being outside in the rain. But they are spoiled brats ;-) What a great view you have, all the way to the horizon. All that space... wow!
BEEYOUTEEFULLLL!
ReplyDeleteyes, i agree, very beautiful, and the other beauty of it is it has just arrived here, but still no rain but clouds. Please leave us some rain!!!!

ReplyDeleteHope you all cool down a bit with some rain..good to see you ...hope the job is going good..
ReplyDeleteWas that today? We had a few sprinkles this evening - just enough to mess up the car windshield. Dirt + sprinkles = muddy windshield.
ReplyDeleteThunderstorms on the plains were always a sight.
ReplyDeletePoor Stormy.
You are right. Nothing like a summer storm that you can see way off in the distance.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos..We need some of that rain here, too. Its just too hot.
ReplyDeleteYou photos are beautiful! Although, I'm rather tired of all the rain we are having.

A good storm feels like it cleans your little corner of the world up a bit.
ReplyDeleteEverything is shiny and color enhanced after a good rain.

ReplyDeleteWe've had way too many thunderstorms and rain this summer. I'm looking forward to a break. LOL
