Our First Chicks... Finally!!!!


8 chicks in all -- 2 Rhode Island Reds, 3 Barred Plymouth Rocks,
2 Buff Orpingtons and 1 Ameraucana.

    so cute! we had chick when I was a kid. loved them! I am waiting for baby rabbits...hopefully mom bunny will have them on Monday....

    Hi, Oz Girl! I'm new to your blog, and was excited to hear that you now have baby chicks! I'd love to have some chicks of my own, but I don't think our Township rules/regulations would allow it. Still, the thought of farm fresh eggs does make me wish that we lived more in the country.

    Yay Susan! I'm really happy for you and I know you'll LOVE your chickens. I don't know what it is about them that makes us love them so much but they've sure brought a lot of joy to our lives. They're great entertainment too. Have fun!
