today: a rainy back porch |
Since it's a very rainy day today, it's the perfect day to get some indoor tasks accomplished. I'm hoping to get my email inbox cleaned up (OMG it's awful) and get some new products created for my Zazzle store, which is doing very well, thank you.

We don't get as many rainy days here as I did in northeast Ohio. Because of that, I actually enjoy a rainy day now. The doors and windows are open so I can hear the pitter-patter of the rain and the occasional thunder boom. It's a soothing sound to me, and it makes me feel like I can be productive today.
Well, one can hope, right?!
What do you enjoy doing on rainy days?
Congrats Joe!!!! We haven't had many rainy days lately, but I'd LOVE a rainy Saturday or Sunday so I could do some knitting and major cooking. Sometimes it's really nice to have a good, rainy day.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Joe!!!! Enjoy! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm enjoying the rain really. I wish I was at our cabin though to "weather" the storms on my screened porch but alas I'm home, hopefully in front of an easel! Have a great rainy week.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Joe. And I loved your B&W picture of the porch. Cool!
ReplyDeleteOne of our Border Collies (the youngest) gets ticked off at the thunder and jumps in the air barking and growling at it. LOL It sounds funny, but it can drive ya mad. We swear that she can hear the thunder when it's 2 hours away!
ReplyDeleteThank you... We have had some bad storms in Ohio this spring and I can't believe how warm it has been.. Have a good one.. Burpee will work
ReplyDeleteNew computer here. I'll be ready for your next contest Susan...
ReplyDeleteHello Susan! Congrats to Joe! It's raining here again today...I miss the sun but I know we need the rain. Badly. I just hope this summer is a cooler wetter one than last year...don't think our lilacs will survive another summer like that. The rain is good for the pasture grass though and that makes the horses happy! Hmm when it rains hubby and I usually end up watching TV or if he heads out to the work shop I'll putter around the house. Hope your day is a good one!
ReplyDeleteMaura :)
I love a good rainy day. Thunder? love it as long as it is rumbling long after the lightning strikes. Lightning? Scared of, especially since we are the lightning death capital of the US. Not sure about you, but our summers bring all 3 most days.
ReplyDeleteHi Oz girl! Saw you at Misha's place and thought I would come by and say hi! Good to see you:)
ReplyDeleteNice bloog post
